Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone has affirmed that his upcoming music concert in August will require fans to make their ticket payments in dollars.
Speaking in a TV interview, Chameleone explained that fans paying through dollars is a way to celebrate his efforts and achievements in the music industry. In his words this will be a way set international standards for his music and give the fans a worthwhile experience in the concert.
"There are people out there who believe that I should be celebrated while I am still alive .... That night, I will celebrate myself as well because the foundation I have laid in the industry deserves celebration. We deserve that and more, and beyond that, we are trying to bring an international standard and give celebrants the best experience,” Chameleone said
General admission for the show themed “Legends in Gold: we love Chameleone” will be $100 which is equivalent to Ksh 13, 121, VIP tickets will be sold for $300 (Sh. 39, 363), VVIP will be priced at $3000 (Sh 393,636).
The event will take place on 31st August at the Serena Hotel in Kampala.
