Kenyan online user’s react to Christina Shusho’s new song titled ‘Zakayo’

Tanzanian Singer Christina Shusho has announced through her social media account that she will be dropping a new gospel song titled ‘Zakayo’.

However her Kenyan fans online were quick to react to the announcement saying they can’t wait for its release.

Despite the singer not mentioning the revelation behind the song message Kenyans speculations seem to be taking the cord. The lyrics in the snippet she shared on X, formerly twitter, talks about a Bible reference regarding a tax collector.

“There was once a man named zakayo, a senior tax collector and a wealthy man. He wanted to know what kind of man Jesus was, but he couldn’t because…” the lyrics stated

Kenyan online users based on their reactions to the post are overly excited about the release and some attaching the interpretation to Ruto’s administration  acquired reference name in the streets as ‘zakayo’ for the tax reforms he established.

President Ruto had shrugged off the name publicly saying his determination is to improve the Kenyan economy.
