The tesla CEO Elon Musk has lost his position as the world’s richest person to Jeff Bezos the Amazon Executive Chairman.
Jeff Bezos had lost the title in 2021 but has now reclaimed it. According to Bloomberg Billionaires Index the amazon founder Jeff Bezos net worth is at $200 billion while Musk now has a net worth of $ 197.7 billion. Elon Musk’s fall comes as a result of the crashing shares in Tesla Inc. by 7.2% on Monday.
On the other hand, Amazon shares have been increasing since late 2022 and have also come off as its best online sales growth.
In an earlier statement, Bezos said he would sell 50 million of his Amazon shares by 2025, however he is still Amazons highest shareholder, owning about 10% of company stock.
