In an Instagram post of him holding a sobriety coin in hand, rapper Eminen celebrated sixteen years in his sobriety journey.
Marshall Mathers, popularly Eminem has since been outspoken about his battle with addiction and his recovery journey in his music career.
Various close friends and family reacted to the post on Instagram sharing their excitement. His younger brother Nathan Mathers commented, “Greatest influence and mentor.” His manger also wrote, “Sweet 16. So proud of you.”
In 2020 he celebrated his 12th anniversary with a caption on a snap of his coin saying, “clean dozen, in the books. I’m not afraid.”
Eminen is said to have been addicted to Vicodin, Valium and alcohol. According to him his addiction started at the beginning of his first Album saying he only started taking hard drugs after getting famous.
