US man who set himself on fire outside Trump's trial in New York court dies

Maxwell Azzarello, the man who set himself on fire outside former US president Donald Trump’s trial in the New York court house reported dead.

Azarello was taking part in the anti-trump demonstrations whereby he dropped conspiracy theory pamphlets in the designated area of protest before setting himself on fire. The people on the spot including police officers tried to put out the fire on him.

The latter was rushed to the Weill Cornel Medical Centre where he was immediately taken to the burn unit in a critical condition a barely alive. The hospital staff on Saturday morning reported that the man didn’t make it. Police officers believed to have helped in putting out the fire had also suffered some minor fire injuries.

Azarello acted out after the jury selection for trumps hush money trial concluded with 12 people and six alternatives obligated to decide whether Trump covered up payments to women who claimed to have been involved in affairs with him.

According to NYPD detectives the pamphlets dropped by the man appeared to be propaganda based or a conspiracy theory.

However police reports say that they believe Mr. Azarello was not targeting any particular person or group in his actions.

Azarello has died in his mid-30s and was from St Augustine in Florida. The trump campaign team also released a condolence message to the traumatized witnesses on the scene on Friday afternoon
