The Turkish trade ministry announced that it has halted all export and import to and from Israel as of Thursday, over worsening humanitarian tragedy in the Palestinian borders.
“Export and import transactions related to Israel have been stopped, covering all products. Turkey will strictly and decisively implement these new measures until the Israeli Government allows an uninterrupted and sufficient flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza,” the statement read
Israel’s foreign minister Israel Katz had responded to the trade restrictions by Turkey on X saying President Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey was breaking the agreements by blocking Israel’s imports and exports.
