PSC denies reports over appointing Jackie Maribe as the head of communications in the ministry of public service

The public service commission has denied reports of appointing journalist Jackie Maribe as head of communication in CS Moses Kuria’s Public service ministry.

The PSC chairperson Anthony Muchiri said that no such appointment has been made by the board neither has a request been made to employ her.

“For the record, the said position will be filled though a competitive recruitment process should a vacancy arise,” he stated

Earlier reports had confirmed that Jackie had landed a state job in the public service ministry. The cabinet secretary of the ministry Moses Kuria had also confirmed so saying the appointment had been made by the public service commission.

CS Kuria is yet to respond to the public service commission’s clarifications.
