President William Ruto set to visit the Maai Mahiu flooding tragedy site that has left more than 250 people homeless and properties damaged.
President Ruto is expected to visit the survivors of the Maai Mahiu flood tragedy who are camping at Ngeya Secondary School after he is done with a cabinet meeting in Nairobi set to discuss measures to mitigate the flood menace.
The Maai Mahiu dam tragedy is said to have affected four villages killing more than 50 people and at least 70 reported missing.
The Kenya Red Cross has already embarked on
rescue operations as well as providing help in the distribution of essential
items at Ngeya Girls Secondary school where the affected individuals are being hosted.
