Musician KareB mourns son in the Chavakali Boys bus accident

KarehB nudges concerned government ministries on their silence over the Chavakali Boys accident

KarehB a renowned musician who lost his son in the accident involving Chavakali boys, has raised questions on the response of relevant ministry’s concerning the accident.

The musician lost his 17 year old son in the accident while 33 other students were left with injuries. Sharing a post on Facebook, KarehB has shown his discontent on how the ministry of education and transport have been calm about the accident.

“Who permitted minors to travel at night? Transport and roads minister; was the whole traffic marshal asleep that no one noticed minors travelling at night? Are you going to continue being silent and lose more children on the roads, what measures are you putting in place to curb the accidents doing the rounds, especially the young generation,” KarehB questioned

The accident happened along Kisumu-Kakamega highway, where the driver lost control at the Mamboleo roundabout in Kisumu and landed on the edge of the road. The students were heading home for the april holidays

With the ongoing efforts by the government to curb the alarming road accidents, the accidents are still happening raising concerns on what’s yet to be done.
