Los Angeles heist of billions in cash

Thieves steal sh. 4 Billion In cash from a money storage facility in Los Angeles

Los Angeles police detectives are seeking to unravel a billions of cash heist that took place on Easter Sunday at Sylmar, which is said to be the biggest heist to happen in LA.

The thieves took away Ksh 4 billion in cash from the safe at San Fernando Valley facility. According to police reports, the thieves are said to have entered through the roof and breached the vault where money was stored.

During the heist the thieves are said to have triggered only one alarm which did not alert the Los Angeles police department. It is said that the heist was not realized until Monday when the staff opened the vault.

“$30 million in the valley, gone. How? Why? I’m still trying to process it. Was it an inside job? Was it just one person? Was it a group? You know there is a lot of questions,” the employees questioned.

The LAPD and the FBI are investigating the heist. The last historic heist was done in1997 where money was stolen from an armored depot.
