Kindiki listed among the top performing Cabinet Secretaries in the recent politrack awards survey

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki among other Cabinet secretary have emerged at the top in the recent survey by the politrack Africa on  best performing  Cabinet Secretaries in the country.

The survey which was conducted between 11th to 18th march this year through online voting covered all the 47 counties and 290 constituencies in the 8 regions in the country.

Speaking during the release of the results, Politrack Africa said that the cabinet secretaries have shown resilience in delivering their services to meet the public’s expectations.

“While some cabinet secretaries have demonstrated effective leadership, policy innovation, and service delivery, others have faced challenges related but not limited to proper formulation of good impactful projects, misappropriation of public funds, inefficiencies, and failures in meeting public expectations,” the agency said

Other thank Kindiki, the other cabinet secretaries who emerged at the top five include Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi as second best, Cooperatives Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui was number three and the Trade and Investments Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano emerging as 4th best and only lady in the top 5 category.

In the countys category, the Kakamega Governor Fernandez Baraza emerged best with his counterparts from Tharaka Nithi Muthomi Njuki and Narok’s Patrick Ole Ntuntu tying at second-best, while Isiolo Governor Abdi Guyo emerging third best.

Kiharu MP and National Assembly Budget and Appropriations Committee Chairperson Ndindi Nyoro was ranked the best-performing legislator. His Westlands counterpart Tim Wanyonyi emerged second best and Kabete MP James Githua Wamacukuru and Embakasi East MP Babu Owino tied at the number 3 position.
