Kate Middleton goes public about her cancer diagnosis

The princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has announced to the public that she has cancer after weeks of speculation about her disappearance.

In a video released on Friday by the Kensington palace, Kate who is 42 said that her medical diagnosis revealed cancerous cells following an abdominal surgery she had early this year.

Kate has also explained her reasons for keeping the news private, saying she took her time to explain her condition to the kids, since they wanted to wait until they were out of school for the Easter holiday before informing the public.

She affirmed that she has been undergoing chemotherapy, however she did not reveal the type of cancer she was diagnosed with.

Celebrities and royal family members have come out to support Kate Middleton on her cancer diagnosis. Among them king Charles, prince harry and Megan Markle have released their statements of support.

Kate Middleton is the spouse to Prince William and they have got three kids, Prince George, princess charlotte and Prince Louis.
