Ghana awards president Ruto with the Order of the Star of the Volta award

Ghanaian president Nana Akufo-Abdo has rewarded Kenya’s president William Ruto for his exemplary leadership among African leaders, referring to him as the 'new breed of  of African leaders".

President Ruto was honored with the Order if the Star of the Volta, one of Ghana’s highest awards. This was during a state banquet where President Akufo of Ghana commended his leadership measures of improving Kenyans lives and the Kenyan economy.

 “Under your leadership, Kenya has become a shining beacon of a nation governed by the rule of law,” President Akufo said

Moreover Ruto’s efforts of expanding Kenya’s international status were acknowledged by the Ghanaian president, saying it has enabled Kenya to reduce inflation and increase access to health insurance and housing for Kenyans.

So far Kenya has signed seven agreements with Ghana over enhancing bilateral ties between them.
