Eliud Kipchoge to lead Kenya men’s Marathon team to the 2024 Olympic games

Athletics Kenya has  announced that defending champion Eliud Kipchoge will lead Kenya men marathon team to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Since his disappointing finish at the Tokyo marathon where he emerged at the 10th position, Kenyans now anticipate his performance at the Paris marathon.

Kipchoges team mates include Vincent Kipkemboi Ng’etich, Timothy Kiplagat, Benson Kipruto and Alexander Mutiso.

“The team has since been handed over to the National Olympics Committee of kenya and will be coached by coaches Amos Korir, Nicholas Koech and Patrick Sang.” Report stated

Kipchoge win in the Paris marathon will secure him a third gold medal. The Paris Olympics are set to begin on July 2024.

Kenya will be represented by six men and 5 women. The women team will be led by Brigid Kosgei.
