DJ Joe Mfalme cleared of charges involving him in the murder case against DCI officer


DJ Joe Mfalme  real name Joseph Mwenda  has been cleared of all charges relating him to the incident that resulted to the death of  DCI officer in kikuyu. The DJ and his team were presented today in court after being detained for 14 days for proper investigations to be conducted.

The director of public prosecutions had earlier on established that the second to the seven respondents in the murder case against the Kabete police detective will be witnesses in the case.

In a letter dated April 5, 2024 the DPP has  charged the first respondent Allan Ochieng’ who is the DJ's hypeman with the murder of the officer and He is to face charges on Monday April 8 at the kiambu High court.

DJ Joe Mfalme had been arrested   over allegations of having attacked the Kabete detective on March 16 in kikuyu market over a minor car accident. However the DJ had later cleared the allegations  saying they were collaborating with the police in investigating the incident.
